An article written by the Network Pages team is published in Pythagoras, the Dutch mathematics magazine for youth and mathematics teachers. In the article Euler's formula for convex polyhedra is discussed. An argument attributed to Augustin-Louis Cauchy using Schlegel diagrams is used to show why the formula is true.
